Traditional hand painted Imari bowl with scalloped rim, c late 19th century (15cm diameter x 7cm height). This bowl is typical of the Imari porcelain ware that was made for export during the Meiji period. It is unmarked with an unglazed foot. Ground has a blue tint and is in typical colours and design.
