Traditional hand painted antique Japanese Imari (Arita) bowl with scalloped rim made c late 19th century. This bowl is typical of the Imari porcelain ware that was made for export during the Meiji period. It is unmarked with an unglazed foot. Ground has an off-white tint and is in typical Imari colours and design. The bowl measures 29 cm in diameter and 11.5 cm in height.
