An elegantly pretty solid silver photo frame made in 1922. Rectangular arched silver frame mounted onto quarter-cut solid oak easel back. Repoussed floral decoration at each corner and surrounding a blank top cartouche. Easel support is hinged to a removable oak insert which is secured in place by two corner tabs and a top swivel catch. Clear Chester hallmarks for 1922 and maker's mark H.W.Ltd (for Henry Williamson Ltd). External maximum frame dimensions are 18cm in height and 13cm width. Aperture size is 13cm x 9cm.

  • The frame is in overall very good condition commensurate with age. The silver frame is complete but has suffered a few 'dints' - however not detracting from its beauty.
