Very lovely large solid silver photo frame on a solid wood easel back, 1914. Elegantly shaped form on raised feet. Vertical engraving interspaced with small floral motifs and central blank cartouche. Solid mahogany back with hinged support. Retaining corner tabs and swivel clips holding its back-board. Clear hallmarks for the Chester Assay Office 1914. The frame's external dimensions (maximum) are 29.5cm in height and 24cm in width. Its aperture measures 20cm x 15cm.
