A good 19th century, three-draw brass and leather terrestrial pocket telescope c1880. Main barrel covered in its original stitched leather cover. Flared eyecup with swivel dust slide within the eyepiece. Three brass draw tubes, with 1-inch diameter objective lens and removable brass end cap. Optics are in good undamaged condition, focusing easily to produce a clear sharp image. A period antique pocket telescope, as good to use today as it was over a hundred years ago. The telescope measures 15 cm when closed and 41 cm extended.
