An attractive antique silver mounted photo frame by Henry Matthews, Birmingham, 1915. Rectangular aperture set in a repousse-worked silver frame with blank cartouche. The frame's back-board and easel style stand have been re-covered in velvet on its original back-board - giving this antique frame a new lease of life. Back located by a swivel catch. Birmingham hallmarks for 1915 and maker's mark HM (for Henry Matthews). Maximum external frame dimensions are 19 cm in height and 13.5 cm width. Aperture size is 13.5 cm x 9 cm.

The frame is in overall very good condition commensurate with age. The silver frame is undamaged and shows very minor signs of age. Back-board is complete and has been re-covered in velvet.
