Exceptionally pretty solid silver antique Art Nouveau posy or bud vase by Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1906. The footed vase has a flared stem merging into a fluted, trumpet neck. Simple repousse decoration of a sprig of bluebells repeated front and back on its stem. Weighted base. Hallmarked for Birmingham assay office 1906 and for silver makers Henry Matthews. The vase measures 13.5 cm in height.

The vase is in very good condition commensurate with age. Its only deformity being a small 'flat spot' on the outer rim of its foot (seen in last image). Please see images as they forms an important part of the description.
