Early 20th century, quality set of technical drawing instruments made c1925. A "full set" compromising of a 6" compass with extension bar and fittings, 5” dividers, two bow compasses, three spring bows and two ruling pens plus pricker. Complete set with one of the ruling pens likely to be a later replacement. In addition it has a 6" ebony parallel rule and ivorine scale rule housed under a flap in its lid. Case lined in blue silk and blue velvet and is covered externally in burgundy Moroccan leather. The set is unmarked as is typical of many of the sets retailed in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The case measures 21 cm x 15.5 cm x 3 cm.

  • This 'full set' has original instruments in excellent working condition with age related surface patina. Internally the set's lining is in very good condition other than wear and age/use related staining to the silk. The case's leather covering shows minor signs of use and age. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
