Bevelled panels and bevelled oval top window displaying its original, jewelled cylinder platform escapement. Roman numerals and minute ring on a white enamelled face with blued steel hands. A twin-barrel 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a coiled gong. Push button repeater striking the nearest hour. Supplied with antique double-ended brass key. Height is 17.5 cm to top of handle (13 cm excluding handle), width 9cm and depth 8cm. Excellent time-keeper.
