Striking pair of Doulton Lambeth salt-glaze stoneware vases c1890. Tubelined art nouveau stylised design, repeated (x4) around body. Deep blue body and inside rim, brown neck. 25cm height, 6cm base, 6cm rim, 11.5cm at shoulder. Both have an incised Doulton Lambeth mark used prior to 1902. One vase is signed with the monogram LB, the other FM. Pattern number 385.

Pair of Doulton Lambeth Vases c1890 (25cm)
Vase signed LB is in excellent original condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Vase signed FM has restoration to its neck (shown in images) - otherwise no chips, cracks or crazing. Evidence of the restoration is very difficult to see (mostly evident by a slight dullness of the glaze). Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
