Regency rosewood sarcophagus form tea caddy c1815. The caddy has an on-laid mother of pearl escutcheon and is raised on bun feet. Internally it is divided into three sections with central cut-glass bowl. Lids to tea compartments are hinged with original piano hinges. Original lock (no key!) and original rosewood veneer on mahogany interior. Maximum overall measurements; 35cm x 20cm x 19.5cm (WxDxH).

This caddy is in very good overall condition. External case is in excellent condition. The central glass bowl has no chips, cracks or scratches. One of its bun feet is a good (matching) replacement.
