Regency rosewood sarcophagus form tea caddy c1815. The caddy has an on-laid mother of pearl escutcheon and is raised on bun feet. Internally it is divided into three sections with central cut-glass bowl. Lids to tea compartments are hinged with original piano hinges. Original lock (no key!) and original rosewood veneer on mahogany interior. Maximum overall measurements; 35cm x 20cm x 19.5cm (WxDxH).

One of its bun feet is a good (matching) replacement. It is missing the rings from its handles. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
