An elegantly simple solid silver rectangular photo frame. The frame's backing-board is of wood with an easel style wooden support, which is hinged to the back-board. Located by two silver swivel catches at the back of the frame. Clear London hallmarks for 1897 and silversmith W.R.C. (for William Richard Corke, registered with the London Assay Office in 1895). External frame dimensions are 11cm x 15cm height. Aperture size is 10cm x 14cm.

The frame is in very good overall condition - commensurate with its age. The silver has a couple of very minor surface abrasions. Wooden backing-board is complete and easel support is solid. One of the silver catches is a little sprained and thus a little loose. Glass complete - likely to be a replacement. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
