Late Victorian mahogany boxed drawing instrument set. The set's top layer appears complete. Its lower layer includes an ebony parallel rule and a boxwood protractor/scale rule by G Rowney & Co, London. The case has a brass inlaid escutcheon and (blank) inlaid brass cartouche to its lid. Overall dimensions are 19cm x 13cm x 4.5cm.

This instrument set is in excellent overall condition with complete functioning instruments. The ebony parallel rule and scale rule are both in very good condition. The case has some minor surface marks from age and use but otherwise is in excellent condition - solid joints and hinges. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
