Attractively shaped Art Nouveau silver mounted photograph frame, Birmingham 1918. Rectangular aperture with repousee rope detail to border within a shaped frame. Solid oak back with hinged support. Retaining tabs to bottom corners together with swivel clips to secure its back-board. Hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office 1918. Rubbed makers mark (G & C.H.). The frame's maximum external dimensions are 17.5 cm in height and 13 cm in width. Its aperture measures 12.7 cm x 8 cm.

The frame is in overall very good condition commensurate with age. The oak back panel and strut has been replaced with aged wood. Back-board is securely retained in position. The frame shows minor signs of age/use. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
