Exceptionally attractive, high-quality small skeleton clock signed Charles Frodsham. One of a limited number (of 300) made at the Frodsham Workshop, London c1980 (verified by Charles Frodsham & Co). The clock has a brass scroll frame and is on a green onyx base raised on four bun feet. Inset silver (not hallmarked) chapter ring in a brass bezel. Roman numerals with minute ring and fleur-de-lis half hour indicators and finely pierced, blued steel hands. An 8-day fusee movement with over-wind stop. Recoil anchor escapement with friction collet crutch adjustment and fine, 6-crossed wheel work. Passing strike on the hour with a top bell and axe-head striker. Original glass dome. Signed Charles Frodsham, London with serial number 275. Supplied with key.  32cm in height to top of dome - base dimensions are 20cm width and 14cm depth. Excellent timekeeper. Fully cleaned and serviced. The clock's movement is covered by a 6-month warranty in the UK.
