A good late Victorian curl-mahogany ladies dressing table or toilet mirror on a two-draw, straight fronted base c.1890. Shield-shaped swing mirror held by shaped upright supports with original decorative cast brass patera. Matching original decorative cast brass support-screws attaching the mirror to both uprights. The mirror’s frame having crossbanded mahogany veneers with inlaid box line to its outer edge – also present on the top of its base and around drawer fronts. Curl-mahogany veneers to base and drawer fronts. Oak lined drawers with original matching cast brass knobs. Base raised on four ogee bracket feet. Overall maximum height is 55 cm. Maximum base dimensions are 41 cm in width and 18 cm in depth.
