Late Victorian set of brass drawing instruments in a rosewood veneered case. Brass escutcheon, original lock (no key!) and brass (blank) cartouche to lid. Pocket inside lid behind velvet liner. Removable top tray. Parallel rule, brass protractor and other accessories in lower compartment. Style of box, escutcheon and instruments indicates that the set was likely to have been made in France. Top tray missing an articulated main compass. Dimensions; 18.5cm x 11.5cm x 5cm.
