A superb Victorian single fusee skeleton clock c1880. Elaborately scrolled brass plates with silvered pierced chapter ring. Original chain drive to the 8 day five pillar movement. Finely crossed six-spoke wheels. Recoil anchor escapement and brass bob pendulum. Standing on an ebonised oval base on three adjustable brass buns under a period glass dome. Fully restored. Completely repivoted and replaced glass hard anchor. Repolished and unlacquered - matured to an attractive honey colour. Accurate to a minute a week. Measures 29cm x 14cm base x 39cm to top of dome.
