A Victorian rosewood salon chair c1850. Finely carved rosewood show-wood with central oval upholstered panel. Serpentine seat frame with show-wood beads supported on elegant French cabriole legs to the front with scroll detail to top. Out-swept back legs. Traditionally upholstered crown-top, over-stuffed seats - retaining its hessian horse-hair rolls. Maximum measurements are 89 cm height, 45 cm width and 46 cm (maximum) depth.

The rosewood show-wood on this chair is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. All joints solid. The upholstery is intact - whilst a little 'tired' it retains its colour and is perfectly serviceable. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
