A very functional vintage desk top brass magnifying glass on stand c1950s. Bi-convex lens securely held within a circular brass bezel on an extending arm. Three-way joint attaching this to the upright support. Three-way joint enables the magnifying lens to be located in any orientation and height. Weighted circular base with felt cover. Matt patina to the exposed brass with minor tarnish spots. Upright tube with very minor indentations. Height to top of stand is 26.5 cm. Diameter of lens (excluding bezel) is 9 cm. Diameter of base is 12 cm.
